Sheriff Kenneth Ross heard that on the gravity of his convictions, the Dumfries and Galloway Council police authority agreed to permanently forfeit the former inspector’s pension by 65 per cent slashing it from £13,840 to £4,850 per year - payable on his 60th birthday.
